Alpha Estate ONE is the flagship and rarest label of the winery, released in an extremely limited number of bottles (approximately 2,500 - 3,000 annually). Each vintage is unique, as the winemaker selects only one specific vineyard block and a single variety (or blend) that reached its peak that year, representing the ultimate expression of the Amyntaio terroir for that particular harvest.
- Aging: Aged for 36 months in French oak barrels and 18 months in the bottle. It is unfiltered and undergoes absolutely no treatment prior to bottling.
This unique red wine is best served at 16-18°C. It pairs perfectly with rich meats roasted or served with thick sauces, cooked with vegetables, root vegetables and wine, marinated game, combined with chestnuts and plums, as well as fatty or aged cheeses with intense and rich flavor. The use of a decanter for at least one hour before serving is highly recommended.
