Domaine Migas Limniona Red is a single-varietal dry red wine made from 100% Limniona grapes, originating from Tyrnavos (PGI Tyrnavos).
Appearance: Bright purple.
Aromas: An exceptionally elegant nose with aromas of red fruits (cherry, strawberry), hints of basil, violet and subtle notes of sweet spices from the oak.
Palate:Medium-bodied, with very elegant "silky" tannins, excellent freshness and a fruity aftertaste.
Vinification:Red vinification with multi-day post-fermentation maceration in open-top barrels, followed by aging for 14 months in French oak barrels.
Aging Potential: While it is enjoyable when fresh, it has an aging potential of 2–4 years.
It pairs excellently with medium-intensity dishes (veal in tomato sauce, pasta with minced meat, charcuterie boards), as well as fatty fish (salmon or tuna) due to its soft tannins. Best served at 16°C.
