Ktima Migas Moscato Black of Tyrnavos Semi-Sparkling White is a unique off-dry white wine (Blanc de Noir), produced from the red variety Moscato Black of Tyrnavos using the white vinification method (PGI Tyrnavos).
Appearance: Golden-yellow hue with refreshing bubbles.
Aromas: Distinct aromas of rose and yellow fruits (such as peach and apricot), with notes of honey, jasmine and banana.
Palate:Juicy with balanced acidity, subtle sweetness and a long aromatic aftertaste.
Vinification: A red variety produced through white vinification (Blanc de Noir) at low fermentation temperatures to highlight the variety's aromatic bouquet. The wine remains on its fine lees for 3 months in chilled stainless steel tanks with continuous stirring (batonnage) to achieve a full and creamy body. A second fermentation takes place in closed pressurized tanks (Charmat method) to capture and integrate the natural carbon dioxide into the wine.
It can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif, but it pairs exceptionally well with fruit salads, dried fruits, or light, creamy desserts. Best served at 6 - 9°C.
