Ktima Migas Moscato Black of Tyrnavos Semi-Sparkling Rosé is a unique off-dry rosé wine, produced from 100% Moscato Black of Tyrnavos (PGI Tyrnavos).
- Appearance: Bright rose hue with persistent bubbles.
- Aromas: Intense aromatic bouquet, dominated by notes of rose, strawberries, cherries and red forest fruits.
- Palate: Refreshing and revitalizing due to its carbonation, with a pleasant sweetness that perfectly balances the acidity. The aftertaste is long, leaving a sense of freshness.
- Vinification: The grapes undergo cold maceration (skin contact) at 6°C for 8-10 hours, followed by slow fermentation at low temperatures (15-17°C) to preserve the primary grape aromas and achieve the desired color intensity. A second fermentation takes place in closed pressurized tanks to capture and integrate the natural carbon dioxide into the wine.
It can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif, but also pairs excellently with Asian cuisine (sweet and sour dishes), spicy flavors, fruit platters, soft cheeses and desserts such as fruit tarts, strawberry sorbet, or light mastic-flavored sweets. Best served very chilled, at 6 - 8°C.
