Mikro Thavma" (Little Miracle) by Tzounara Winery is a multi-varietal, dry white wine crafted from a blend of Malagouzia and Assyrtiko grapes, originating from Vagia, Boeotia (PGI Sterea Ellada).
- Appearance: Bright, pale yellow-green with golden highlights.
- Aromas: Intense and complex bouquet. Dominant notes of fresh citrus fruits (lemon, citron) and white-fleshed fruits (peach, pear), accompanied by the distinctive botanical aromas and hints of white flowers brought by the Malagouzia varietal.
- Palate: Full-bodied and well-balanced. The crisp acidity of the Assyrtiko refreshes the palate, providing nerve and freshness, while balancing the oily and fruity character of the Malagouzia. The finish is long-lasting, fruity and subtly mineral.
- Vinification: It undergoes classic white vinification at controlled low temperatures entirely in stainless steel tanks.
It pairs excellently with grilled fish (sea bream, red seabream or sea bass with olive oil-lemon dressing and fresh herbs), shellfish (steamed mussels, clams or oysters), fried seafood (calamari, picarel), dishes of traditional Greek cuisine (rice-stuffed vegetables (gemista), spinach rice (spanakorizo), traditional wild greens pie (chortopita) or spinach-feta pie (spanakotyropita) and roasted lemon chicken in the oven), seafood pasta with white sauce, as well as asparagus risotto. Finally, it is uniquely highlighted by a platter of white cheeses such as feta, goat cheese and anthotyros. Best served chilled at 8-10°C.
