Nemea Zacharias from Zacharias Vineyards is a monovarietaldry red wine produced from 100% Agiorgitiko grapes, originating from Nemea (PDO Nemea).
Appearance: Deep purple with ruby highlights.
Aromas: Dominated by red fruits (cherry, sour cherry, plum) combined with notes of sweet spices, cinnamon and vanilla from the oak barrel.
Palate: It has a medium to full body, velvety tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is long and fruity.
Vinification: Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and continues its evolution in the bottle.
Aging Potential: A wine with good aging potential (5-7 years), while maintaining the friendly and soft character of the Agiorgitiko variety.
It pairs perfectly with red meats (grilled or stewed), rabbit stew, pizza, burgers, pasta with rich red sauces and aged yellow cheeses. Best served at 16-18°C.
