Jackie Rose is a multi-varietal dry rosé wine from Barafakas Winery in Nemea, produced from a blend of Agiorgitiko, Syrah and Moschofilero (PGI Peloponnese). Designed in the style of Provence rosés, it focuses on freshness and elegant presentation.
- Appearance: Pale pink with salmon highlights.
- Aromas: Distinct aromas of cherry, sweet lime, orange, acacia blossoms and honeysuckle.
- Palate: Refreshing with noticeable acidity and a slightly oily body.
- Vinification: Very brief skin contact (a few hours) followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks under strictly controlled low temperatures. It rests briefly on its fine lees (sur lies) to gain extra volume and texture.
Ideally accompanies salads, pasta with light sauces, fish, seafood and Mediterranean dishes. It is also an excellent choice as an aperitif or paired with finger food and cheese platters. Best served at 10 - 12°C.
