AGAPE from Tzounara Winery is a multi-varietal dry rose wine crafted from a blend of Moschofilero and Agiorgitiko grape varieties, originating from Vagia, Boeotia (PGI Thiva).
- Appearance: Bright rose.
- Aromas: Elegant floral nose with notes of peony, cherry and lotus blossoms, combined with unripe red fruits (strawberry, berry), grapefruit and pink pepper.
- Palate: Features a crisp, refreshing acidity that balances the sensation of ripe red fruits, leaving a fresh and delightful aftertaste.
- Vinification: It undergoes classic rose vinification with short maceration and fermentation at controlled low temperatures in stainless steel tanks.
It pairs perfectly with seafood dishes (shrimp pasta, steamed mussels, grilled octopus and fatty fish), traditional Greek cuisine (stuffed vegetables/gemista, green bean and olive oil stew/fasolakia ladera, briam and Greek salad with feta cheese), as well as international dishes (pizza Margherita, pasta Napolitana and even sushi). Finally, it can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif at the start of a meal or paired with a platter of mild cheeses (mozzarella, anthotyros) and cold cuts (prosciutto). Best served at 8-10°C.
