Kydonitsa Zacharias from Zacharias Vineyards is a monovarietal dry white wine produced from 100% Kydonitsa, originating from Nemea (PGI Peloponnese).
Appearance: Medium lemon with green highlights.
Aromas: Intense aromas of quince (as its name suggests), framed by notes of pear, chamomile, jasmine and citrus fruits.
Palate: It has a medium body, refreshing acidity and a characteristic minerality in the finish.
Vinification: Produced using classic white vinification in stainless steel tanks to preserve the variety’s fresh and fruity character.
It pairs excellently with seafood, grilled fish, white meats with light sauces (chicken, pork), green salads, Mediterranean appetizers and pasta with seafood or pesto. Best served at 7-10°C.
