The Paros White Classic from Moraitis Estate is a monovarietal, dry white wine made from 100% Monemvasia, originating from the island of Paros (PDO Paros). It represents the epitome of a fresh, island white wine that perfectly expresses the Parian terroir.
- Appearance: Pale yellow with green highlights.
- Aromas: Intense aromas of citrus fruits, white-fleshed peach and pineapple dominate, accompanied by notes of white pepper and the signature Aegean mineral character.
- Palate: Dry, with a medium body, refreshing acidity and a pleasant, crisp aftertaste.
- Vinification: Crafted through classic white vinification under controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks, followed by a short maturation on the lees.
Thanks to its crisp acidity, medium body and maritime salinity, it is the ultimate wine for the Greek island table. It pairs flawlessly with grilled fish, small fried fish, grilled octopus, cockles (shellfish), okra in olive oil (bamies laderes), spinach rice (spanakorizo), lemon risotto and Greek salad with capers. Finally, it pairs uniquely with a platter of fresh Cycladic cheeses such as anthotyro, fresh myzithra and Parian xinomyzithra. Best served at 8–10°C.
