Limnia Gi Rosé from Hatzigeorgiou Estate is a multi-varietal dry rosé wine, produced from the unique blend of the ancient red variety Limnio and the aromatic white Muscat of Alexandria, both native to the volcanic soil of Lemnos.
Appearance: Vibrant rose petal hue.
Aromas: Dominated by intense fruity citrus aromas and floral notes (rose). Subtle hints of red fruits like strawberry and raspberry are also present, along with touches of orange peel or bergamot.
Palate: Characterized by balanced acidity, a refreshing taste, and a pleasant aftertaste.
Vinification: The process involves brief cold maceration (skin contact) followed by controlled fermentation at 16-18°C to preserve its delicate aromatic profile.
It pairs ideally with pasta and pizza in light red sauces, red meats, charcuterie boards (cold cuts), as well as light Mediterranean dishes and Greek appetizers. Best enjoyed chilled at 10-12°C.
