Tango by Argyriou Winery is a single-variety dry rosé wine made from 100% Mavroudi Arachovisgrapes grown in Parnassos (PGI Parnassos).
Appearance: It features a bright coral color.
Aromas: Rich aromas of rose and ripe peach dominate, accompanied by notes of citrus and white flowers.
Palate:Balanced, with a soft texture, lively and crisp acidity and an exceptionally refreshing finish.
Vinification: The process involves cold maceration for approximately 24 hours in stainless steel tanks, followed by alcoholic fermentation at progressively increasing temperatures. The juice is then bled off (saignée) on the second day of fermentation to ferment separately, followed by two months of aging on the fine lees (sur lie)before bottling.
It perfectly accompanies pasta with light sauces, shrimp pasta, pizza Margherita, Greek olive-oil based dishes (gemista), sushi, ceviche and colorful salads with fruit. It is also highly enjoyable as an aperitif, or paired with a platter of mild yellow cheeses (young gouda or kasseri) and light cured meats(prosciutto). Best served at 8–10°C.
