Amethystos Rosé from Domaine Costa Lazaridi is a multi-varietal, dry rosé wine made from 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot, originating from Drama (PGI Drama).
Appearance: Bright, deep rose-pink.
Aromas: Dominated by intense aromas of red fruits (redcurrant, cherry, raspberry) with notes of strawberry candy.
Palate:Full-bodied and oily, with refreshing acidity and a long, fruity finish.
Vinification: The skin contact method (pre-fermentation maceration) is followed for a few hours at a low temperature to extract the desired color and aromas from the grape skins. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks under strict temperature control.
It pairs excellently with traditional Greek dishes (oil-based vegetable stews, stuffed vegetables, green beans), spicy dishes from Indian and Thai cuisine, pasta with red sauces or minced meat, pizza and charcuterie boards. Best served at 10-12°C.
